Wadebridge Lions Club was chartered in 1977 and during those years since, I believe we have earned ourselves a wonderful reputation for concern for and service to the local and international communities. Primarily we support the young, the sick, the deprived and the aged by raising charitable funds in the local area using the many skills of our members.

We are a very small part of Lions Clubs International which is one of the major charitable organisations in the world with clubs in 200+ countries and geographical areas with 1.4 million members worldwide. As a national force we have made huge donations to tsunami, earthquake and hurricane victims recently but also as a local club we have supported many local projects. As an example, we give a yearly Xmas dinner and entertainment to approximately 250 Senior Citizens.

Thank you for your interest in our club and believe me when I say we are always keen to find new members. In common with many well-established clubs, our average age seems to increase by two years every year.
